Digital and Motion Designer
Hey, I’m Gil. I graduated in Communication Design at the Faculty of Fine Arts, University of Lisbon in 2012.
In Portugal I worked at Wiz Interactive. In 2013 I moved to London where I first worked at Fliplet. The following year I moved to Proximity London (Campaign’s Agency of the Year 2015) which allowed me to create work for Disney, Volkswagen, Bombay Sapphire, Martini and Post Office.
I’m comfortable with most Adobe CC software from web design and image editing on Photoshop, to illustration on Illustrator, motion graphics on After Effects and editing on Premiere. Often combining all of the above (and Logic Pro X) to create entire videos. I’m also comfortable with Dreamweaver and InDesign but I don’t use them as often.
Some highlights so far include designing the Welcome email for Disney which was used all across Europe being translated into multiple languages. Still on emails I designed the entire suite of emails for Volkswagen CV and DisneyLife. I also designed websites for BombaySapphire and Post Office Mobile. I’ve also been involved with the video editing for Martini’s and Bombay Sapphire’s social content.
